Since COVID-19 arrived in our lives, it’s fair to say that a lot has changed. We’re all adapting to changes that are out of our control, and we’re doing our best to get on with business as usual.
We’ve seen a seismic shift in the funding landscape. Like The Zuri Project, many small charities are having to develop creative new ways of generating funds for our vital work. Like many other charities, we have lost donors throughout this period of COVID-19. While understandable, it’s still frustrating and challenging for us to plan for the next couple of years.
Despite this, we’re happy to learn that many people are still passionate about supporting our work in Uganda, and we’re certainly not going to sit quietly and feel sorry for ourselves! We’re also trying to make it easier for you, our supporters, to fund our work without putting yourselves out a great deal.
That’s why we’re thrilled to inform you about our inclusion in the Amazon Smile program.
As one of Amazon’s designated charities, you can now raise funds for us when you buy anything through the Amazon store. And the great thing is, there is absolutely no cost to you – Amazon donates 0.5% of the transaction value directly to our account. You can be happy in the knowledge that your purchase is supporting our work in Uganda.

Once you have selected The Zuri Project as your charity, purchase as you usually would.
Upon checkout, Amazon will inform you of how much you have raised for us.
